L’histoire reprend son cours après le milieu du dernier épisode.
Les Rois Bleu et Rouge se sont affrontés après l’apparition du Roi Argent qui n’est autre que Isana Yashiro.
Ce dernier a dévoilé sa nature aux étudiants du lycée mais aussi aux adeptes des autres Rois.
Seulement voilà, pendant que la bataille faisait rage entre HOMRA et Scepter 4 ainsi que leurs mentors, le Roi Incolore a réussi à s’échapper du corps de Yashiro qui tentait de le contenir pour la survie de tous.
Il a alors fait apparition entre Suoh Mikoto et Reisi Munakata qui ont pris connaissance de son existence. Surpris par son intervention opportune et sa présence, leur combat a pris fin abruptement, et ils se sont mis à leur tour à la poursuite de cet usurpateur, jusqu’à ce que Suoh ne s’écroule de fatigue à cause de l’état de son épée. Le Roi incolore s’est alors échappé dans la nature, laissant tout le monde dans l’incertitude.
